Terms and Conditions for UnitBox Containers
Welcome to UnitBox Containers! By accessing or using our products and services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- “Company” refers to UnitBox Containers.
- “Customer” refers to any individual or entity engaging in the rental or purchase of containers from UnitBox Containers.
- “Containers” refers to the storage or shipping containers available for rent or purchase.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By renting, purchasing, or using any container or service from UnitBox Containers, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services or products.
3. Use of Containers
- Containers must be used for lawful purposes only.
- Customers are prohibited from storing hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials inside the containers.
- The Company is not liable for damages or losses arising from the misuse of containers by the Customer.
4. Rental Terms
- Rental Period: The rental period begins on the date of delivery and continues until the container is returned or the agreement is terminated.
- Rental Fees: Rental fees are charged as agreed upon in the initial rental agreement. Payments are due on the agreed billing cycle.
- Extensions: Customers may request to extend their rental period; additional fees will apply.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the rental agreement by providing written notice as per the notice period agreed upon in the contract.
5. Purchase Terms
- Sales: All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Transfer of Ownership: Ownership is transferred to the Customer upon receipt of payment in full. UnitBox Containers retains ownership until the final payment is cleared.
- Delivery: The Company will arrange delivery as per the terms agreed upon during the sale. Any additional fees due to specific delivery requirements will be covered by the Customer.
6. Payment Terms
- Invoices: Invoices are issued in accordance with the agreement and must be paid within the stipulated period.
- Late Payments: Late payments are subject to additional charges as specified in the agreement.
- Security Deposits: A refundable security deposit may be required for rentals. The deposit will be returned after inspection of the returned container, provided no damages are found.
7. Delivery and Pickup
- Delivery Responsibility: The Company will arrange for delivery and pickup of containers to the designated location as specified by the Customer.
- Access Requirements: The Customer must ensure clear and safe access to the designated location. Any additional charges due to access issues will be borne by the Customer.
- Condition: Containers are delivered in good condition. The Customer must notify the Company within 24 hours if the container is found to be damaged upon delivery.
8. Maintenance and Damage
- Routine Maintenance: The Company is responsible for the routine maintenance of rental containers. The Customer should notify the Company of any maintenance issues.
- Customer Responsibility: The Customer is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. The Company reserves the right to charge for repair costs if damages are identified upon return.
- Insurance: The Customer is advised to obtain insurance coverage for the contents stored within the container.
9. Liability
- Company Liability: UnitBox Containers is not liable for loss or damage to the contents stored in containers unless resulting from Company negligence.
- Customer Liability: The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold UnitBox Containers harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the Customer’s use of the container.
- Limitations of Liability: In no event shall UnitBox Containers be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the containers.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
All containers are provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Force Majeure
UnitBox Containers shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, or government regulations.
12. Governing Law
